The Good Life Story Campaign

What is a
good life?

It's a question most people never stop to ask. We think it's the most important one.

Drag the cards to explore answers

Enjoying what is to be enjoyed, enduring what is to be endured, while staying right-sized, with a grateful heart and open mind.

— Kat, South Carolina

To me, a life well lived is one driven by curiosity, purpose, and connection. It's a life where I choose the harder path if it leads to growth, where I leave places and people better than I found them, and where I never stop seeking adventure. I want to look back knowing I embraced opportunities instead of wondering, "What if?" If I can tell stories that inspire others to care more deeply about the world and each other, then I'll know I lived well.

— Kate Sage, New York

A good life is not measured by comfort or achievement alone, but by the people we love, the lives we improve, and the courage to keep growing into who we are meant to become.

— Chelsea , Michigan

The good life is building a life I don’t need to recover from.

— Nicole Smith, Florida

Living a life of purpose and call tolerance.

— Penney, Alaska

A good life is service to all mankind. Having a purpose in life to use my gifts to serve those in need.

— Nicolle, Texas

Why this question matters

Purpose is not a luxury

Research consistently shows that people with a strong sense of purpose live longer, report higher life satisfaction, and recover from adversity faster, regardless of income or circumstance.

The question has always been there

We are very good at being busy. We optimize, we achieve, we move to the next thing. What we rarely do is pause long enough to ask whether the direction we're running in is the one we actually chose. This is the most important leadership move you can make for yourself, for the people who depend on you, for the life you're in the middle of building right now.

Your answer matters

There is no single definition of a good life, and that's the point. When we collect many answers in one place, something remarkable happens: we start to see both our differences and our common ground. What you believe about a good life shapes how you live it.
